Striving For Academic Excellence

We are a non-accredited Christian day school.  We offer grades K-4 through 12.  We use the Abeka Curriculum and are members of the American Association of Christian Schools and the Northwest Association of Christian Schools.

Each student begins the day with a lesson from God's Word.  They memorize Scripture and every class is centered around the Word of God as well as weekly chapel services.  We use the King James Version of the Bible.

Elementary classes have a weekly time of physical education.  PE is scheduled in the daily class schedule for Jr. High and High School.

In addition to PE, we offer team sports for those in 5th-12th grade: basketball for the boys and volleyball for the girls.

Proverbs 22:6 - "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Our objective in building a private Christian academy is to assist the Christian home in obeying this spiritual imperative.

One of our chief goals at FBA is to encourage Christian character within each student that will be evidenced by his actions whether he is at home, school, or elsewhere. The character of a student should remain the same, regardless of his location.

According to Luke 2:52, Jesus increased in these four areas:

  • Wisdom - academically
  • Stature - physically
  • Favour with God - spiritually
  • Favour with man - socially

To this end we desire to educate and train the entire student in these same areas.

  • Spiritually - FBA is first and foremost a Christian school. Everything we do is done in the framework of the Word of God.
  • Socially - FBA provides a Christian environment for the students to learn proper interaction with their peers and authorities.
  • Academically - FBA provides quality education by skilled teachers.
  • Physically - FBA provides an athletic program as well as PE classes.
