Pastor Jake Burkholder grew up in the heart of America’s Mid-West, specifically in Missouri’s Amish Country. Born into an Old-Order Amish family, he experiences a life devoid of modern conveniences such as automobiles, telephones, or electricity for the first 16 years of his life.
By the grace of God, a faithful Ex-Amish Baptist preacher, introduces him and his family to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the age of 16, Pastor Burkholder accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Shortly thereafter, he felt the call of God on his life to full-time Christian service and to preach the Word of God.
In preparation for the ministry, Pastor Burkholder attended The Crown College of the Bible in Powell, TN. It was here that he met his future wife, Amy. After graduating in 2006, Pastor Burkholder and Amy got married in July of the same year. They then moved to Spokane, Washington to serve in the ministry of Faith Baptist Church.
Since 2006, the Burkholders have been devoted members of Faith Baptist Church, officially joining the staff in 2008. Pastor Burkholder currently serves as the Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor. The Burkholders are blessed with two daughters.
