Mrs. Norma Howell was raised in a Christian home in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She went to Bible college, where she was a music and Christian Education major. It was there that she met her future husband, a fellow American student. In 1996, they moved to the Northwest and made Spokane their home. They are blessed that all of their six grown children and six grandchildren live in the area.
For the past fifteen years, Faith Baptist Church has been their home, a place they truly consider family. Mrs. Howell was teaching in another Christian school in the Spokane area when the Lord opened the door for her to take over the third-grade class at FBA. The other school graciously released her to come and serve in her church, a ministry where she has never felt more at home.
After joining FBA, Mrs. Howell transitioned to the fifth and sixth-grade classes, where she taught for two years. She is now returning to the third-grade classroom once more.
Mrs. Howell believes that God brought her here to nurture your children, to instill in them a love for God, and a passion for learning. She is thrilled to collaborate with you in their education!
